Meet Dr. Stephanie Phillis

Dr. Stephanie Phillis and Dr. Hugh Phillis are delighted to provide individualized orthodontic care to the Chelmsford community.

To me, practicing orthodontics means being able to provide my patients with healthy, beautiful smiles they will confidently carry throughout life.

I grew up around orthodontics: my dad and sister are both orthodontists! From being fascinated with braces and wires as a child, to appreciating the artistry and science behind orthodontics as a doctor, I have a genuine passion for improving smiles.

It’s rewarding to be building a relationship with a patient, while providing them with the highest quality care possible. Hearing someone’s latest news, sharing a laugh, and chatting about the future are all delightful. I value each of those exchanges.

As an orthodontist, I believe I make a difference in each patient’s life by giving them a functional, healthy, beautiful smile they can share with confidence. I am committed to providing exceptional, individual care, and delivering stunning results: efficiently and comfortably.

Beyond Orthodontics

Dr. Phillis returned to her hometown of Nashua, New Hampshire after completing her orthodontic training. She is close to her family: Mary, her mother, works in adult education; and Hugh, her father, is an orthodontist in Nashua. She also has five sisters and a brother, and the family lives with two Golden Retrievers — Leo and Charlie — who are everyone’s favorite Phillises!

When she’s not crafting smiles, Dr. Phillis loves time with her friends and family, hiking, swimming, and snowboarding, and rooting for New England sports teams.

Dr. Stephanie Phillis received her B.S. in Biology from Emory University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She did her dental and orthodontic training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated magna cum laude. At Tufts University, she was the recipient of the Norman H. Diamond award for excellence in orthodontics, the OKU Hilde Tillman Research Award, and the Erling Johansen Research Prize.  Dr. Phillis is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
